I’m down 5lbs total. I only lost one pound this last week, and I’m pretty upset about it. Of course a loss is a loss, and I should be happy, but I’m bothered that I didn’t lose more; I was hoping for at least a 2lb loss. But, it’s my fault. I stayed within my points, but some of those points consisted of Chick Fil A, Pizza Hut, and an embarrassingly large amount of mini-eggs…damn you delicious Easter candy!
I’m going to get back on track, starting today. I think my biggest mistake this week was not keeping up with my “healthy checks”. It’s how WW ensures you eat right. I’m supposed to have 8 servings of fruits or veggies, 3 servings of dairy, 2 servings of healthy oils, and 8 glasses of water every day. In all the times I have been on this program, I hardly ever get all the checks in one day. This last week though, I didn’t even come close. Clearly, it’s not just how much you eat, what you eat is also a factor in how much weight you lose. Of course I know that, I just, um…forgot this week. Yea, I forgot.
The great thing about WW is that you can just pick yourself up and keep on going. Today so far, I’ve done well, and even though I didn’t lose much this week, I am still happy to have lost something. At this rate, two more weeks and I will be down 10 whole pounds!!
